I’ve visited Moh Moo Dong restaurant, which is famous for local food. It is in the South of Phuket. It is in Soi Palai. To get there, you have to go a long the road until you find the cannel.
The restaurant is located next to the cannel. There was a parking area available for you next to the restaurant. Inside the restaurant, there are plenty of gazeboes for the costumers. The gazeboes are made of wood and Palm leaves. The gazeboes are built in the local style. More over, they gazeboes are located over the pond, which makes a relaxing- atmosphere.

It wasn’t my first time visiting Moh Moo Dong. I’ve visited here for many times with my family. We like to order our favourite dishes. So, I ordered that same menu. As a starter, Moo Kua Klur was ordered. It was fried pork with garlic. It is a bit salty. Pat Pak Ruam was often ordered, as well. It was a combination of local vegetable that fried with egg and pork. I was enjoying with the starters while I was waiting others home-style food. Suddenly, rice was served. Then, Sour and Spicy Shrimp soup or Tom Yam Koong was served. It tasted as same as its name, sour and spicy. Yellow fish curry and a set of Shrimp paste were served in a row. Yellow fish curry was served in the pitcher pot. It was tasty. Spicy was prominent. Those who are spicy lovers might love it. For the set of shrimp paste, it is composed of shrimps paste, chili paste and a combination of scalded vegetable. After all, the restaurant served me a dish of fruit salad as a dessert. There were slice pine apple, melon and guava.
It was a great experience there. If someone asked me what’s the taste like. I would say that it was yummy! The service was good the waiter and waitress were friendly and helpful. I liked it. I’d like to recommend the restaurant to those who want to try tasty local food.
